About me

Heyy, I’m Zayda Adams! I’m an actor and dancer from Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up, my dream job changed with every show I loved—one day a lawyer like Annalise Keating, the next a doctor like Meredith Grey. But I eventually realized it wasn’t the careers I loved—it was the stories. I didn’t want to be those characters; I wanted to play them.

I started young, balancing background work in TV and film with Nutcracker rehearsals. I was training to be a professional ballet dancer when COVID—and a double stress-fractured foot—forced me to pause. That pause led me to acting.

Determined to follow this passion, I transferred to a performing arts school for acting in my junior year. I dove in headfirst, eventually winning the August Wilson Monologue Competition regionally and performing in two plays my senior year.

Now, I’m a student at NYU, working on student films and preparing for my Off-Broadway debut with Atlantic Acting School. At the core of my work is a passion for telling stories that give voice to the unheard and bring emotion to the unseen. Through dance and performance, I strive to create work that moves, connects, and inspires.
